The mission of University Testing Services is to serve the students and citizens in the area with testing and assessment services. These services include administration of admission, placement, credit by exam, psychological batteries, correspondence examinations from other universities, and professional certification and licensing examinations.

This mission, like the University’s mission, is developed to facilitate the access and placement of diverse student groups, to enhance and facilitate the learning process and to benefit current, past and future students, as well as citizens of the greater Houston area.
